I loved the friendly atmosphere and the experience I gained working for the city of Los Angeles. I learned about the operations of the airport and networked with various members. I liked how they were patient with me and actually interested in seeing me gain knowledge and grow from this opportunity.
What I wish was different
I wish I would have been exposed to more work in the procurement department, as there was a lot of downtime.
Advice
Make sure you are proactive and seek out ways for yourself to be helpful to their operations, even when not given a strict assignment or project.
