What I liked
I like the atmosphere. I like helping students with the whole transition from high school to college. I like guiding them along the way and just being an extra resource they could look for.
What I wish was different
I wish some of the systems used in the office or in our departments was different. Some things are made more complicated than what they should be and that, of course, complicates our job.
Advice
Be very friendly to students and staff members. Say hello using their name and you'll notice that little by little you'll create tighter bonds with them. Then in return they could help you in the future.
