What I liked

I really enjoyed the comradery, the jobs and responsibilities that were entrusted to me, and the team that I worked with. I was able to get along and work well with everyone in my team but also those outside of my team.

What I wish was different

One thing I wish had been different about my internship experience was the commute. The office location was about an hour away, and making that commute everyday in rush hour traffic was not always a pleasant experience. That being said, I don't blame the company at all for that inconvenience.

Advice

One piece of advice that I have is to be open to working with any company that will have you. Maybe I was expecting to be with a financial or accounting firm, but I believe that I had just as much experience and made as many connections, or even more so, than I would have working at one of those companies.

What I liked

Learned the basics about hydraulics, how to quickly fix machines that break often.

What I wish was different

Steady hours would’ve been nice, but you can only work when you get time. A full crew would have allowed for a day off rotation.

Advice

Make sure you’re getting paid to do your current work position.
