I loved the freedom I was able to have during this internship. The remote aspect was a huge benefit to my ability to complete and balance my duties with school, my job, and other commitments. I also loved how I was able to incorporate my creative and artistic side into my internship responsibilities related to social media content and upkeep. The E-Board could not have been better internship advisors as well; they were all genuinely so supportive, understanding, and dedicated individuals who helped to make my internship such a wonderful experience. If you have the chance to work with Long Island Schools Alliance, please take it! It is a truly rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in your local community alongside others who want to improve Long Island public schools for all.
