A very hands on experience with a people who are comfortable in teaching new interns about the process and what actually goes into creating and compiling the data sets. Very flexible hours as well as the option to work remotely if necessary. Diverse group of people that I worked with including international students
What I wish was different
Maybe more on the data side of the projects rather than compiling hundreds of emails and their responses. A more hands on training guide since what I received and what we are doing now to train interns has greatly changed. More communication between different departments since it was hard to have everyone in the office at the same time.
Advice
It is a good stepping stone towards my future career which is completely different from what I did over the summer but it gave me a feel for what an office job might look like and gave me insights into how different departments communicate.
