I enjoyed getting to look at old blueprints from different buildings in the Pittsburgh area. I also got to go out into the field and get actual experience surveying buildings and updating drawings. I got to make spreadsheets for cost and building estimates, which I found fun, and got to draw in drawings.
What I wish was different
I did a lot of scanning of blueprints due to a remodel, which I found tedious.
Advice
Do something where you can get hands on experience to know if you actually like the field or not!
