What I liked

I enjoyed the small office environment, I was able to build solid relationships with each of my coworkers and expand my professional network in a new way. I was also given a lot of autonomy to work on projects that interested me and enabled me to help expand the business in new ways.

What I wish was different

I wish that I would have been able to work longer hours there! I usually worked for an average of 30 hours per week and would have worked a full 40!!

Advice

As someone with very little business experience, working at little pepper was the best way to start. Because it was a small company, I was able to help with work on all sides of the business from checking orders to client outreach to processing invoices and much more. I loved working at little pep and would recommend the internship job to any students hoping to work in business!!

Fall Marketing Intern

What I liked

I had a fantastic experience working with Kirsten, Max and Sandy (and Hattie). They were extremely flexible with my class schedule and were so supportive of me in general. Little Pepper is a really good place for people that are relatively self-directed but like a cozy and friendly office environment. My favorite part of the internship was that almost everything that I got to do was important to the team, so if you want a hands-on experience, this is the perfect opportunity.
