We are a Long Island nonprofit organization that trains volunteers to provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to adult learners.
Volunteer tutors are recruited from all over Nassau County and they are trained and supported by Literacy Nassau throughout the year. Adult students are matched with tutors to achieve the educational, economic and social goals they and their tutors have identified as important to them.
