The company would put you on projects and gave assignments that actually applied to the job. During my time I was creating drawings and doing surveys. They do a really good job of actually getting interns involved in the work.

My biggest advice is to have a very good work ethic. The people there are extremely nice and friendly and want to see you do well. However, they can only help you if you want to work towards being better. Also, they like to find people that are passionate about there work and are always open to becoming better at their job.
