The people in the Athletic Department were really great. It is a fun, relaxed environment.
What I wish was different
I wish I was able to work on other tasks besides expense reports and that there was an opportunity for further employment in this department.
Advice
The people and department are great and the culture is more relaxed and open. Be sure you're aware that this internship is more specialized and does not provide full service accounting or audit experience, but is still a great place to work!

I was able to learn more about programming style. I had to learn a lot of this skill on my own time

Ask questions and grow your personal network. Sometimes you have to sacrifice to move to the next step in your career. Keep and open mind and good things will happen.
