Everything! It is a privilege to get to intern here and learn from professionals in the industry who are constantly doing their best to make the show sound awesome.
What I wish was different
I would have liked more hands-on experience especially with the consoles but at the end of the day, it's hard to do that when there is a show going on. Observing other people mix from the console is just as fine.
Advice
Ask as many questions as you can (even the ones that sound stupid.) Don't be afraid of making mistakes and don't be afraid of not knowing something. You learn a whole lot!

What I liked
It's hands on experience in the field that I'm looking to work in. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, as are the majority of artists that play. I never feel like I'm looked down on because I'm an intern - there's learning moments where a manager or supervisor will correct me on a mistake, but it's never done in a condescending way. I've learned to deal with some high pressure situations effectively.
What I wish was different
Nothing, really.
Advice
Be comfortable with taking an unpaid internship because it can lead to paid work down the line! Almost everyone that works at Schubas started off as an intern
