Coworkers are friendly and helpful to new EMTs. The transportation runs are easy, mostly SNF to the hospital and back. The 911 calls can be anything but also depend on your level of training. You will not be sent on runs that you are not equipped to treat. There are 10-hour and 12-hour shifts to choose from. The pay is very competitive.

Nothing should be different from my perspective.
Advice
Communicate with your supervisor about anything and everything. Make sure to call in if you are going to miss work or be late for any reason. If you need help with anything, they are willing to provide, but you must communicate those needs.
