The children are amazing and they bring so much joy. It’s challenging work that requires patience and understanding. We did worship and prayer on Monday mornings and that is amazing.
What I wish was different
Better communication about logistics of the internship. There was a bit of drama between the lifeline employees so that made it difficult sometimes to work there.
Advice
Share more about logistics/ expectations. Such as, shirts will be given for the week, kitchen space is available and interns need to be responsible for breakfast and lunch everyday.
