I liked the passion of the organization to serve children in vulnerable situations.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been able to be in the office more than I was to get a better glimpse of the daily operations of this organization.
Advice
I would advise investing in the work you are getting to do during this internship. This is such meaningful work! I would also suggest getting to know your fellow interns and advisor.

More involvement with the adoption processes and hearing people’s stories

Be personable because you never know who you can connect with while doing outreach for sponsorships and events
