What I liked
Having aspirations for entering the medical field, I really believe the experience was based in learning from my paramedic partners who had been working in EMS for 10-20 years. Seeing their approach to patient care, there efficiency in stressful situations, and their general view of healthcare has helped me find my interests in medicine (while also helping the people of kalamazoo :)) Ultimately, my colleagues have helped me begin to learn how to use my stress productively in crucial situations with patients.
