What I liked

I really appreciate how the other volunteers showed me the ropes. I have also enjoyed learning so much about Arizona wildlife and getting hands on experience taking care of wildlife with the intention of releasing them back to the wild, where they belong. There are also so many different ways to get involved with Liberty Wildlife and it has been great because I not only get to work in the program that interested me the most, but the time works great with my schedule as a student and I can also change what I am doing if there is an opening and I would like to! I will definitely continue to volunteer here post graduation.

What I wish was different

Honestly, I think that Liberty Wildlife has great volunteer programs. There are several areas to choose from with varying times and dates. Everyone that I have met has been super kind and helpful. I cannot think of anything I wish was different.

Advice

Ask lots of questions and don't be afraid to ask for help!

Many positions require training that can take a couple of weeks.

What I liked

Liberty Wildlife is a wonderful Non-Profit Organization that believes in Conservation/Education/Wildlife Rehabilitation. The volunteer community is very freidny and everyone who is apart of the organization genuily cares about it.
