Very hands-on job handling data from the flow of guests coming on a daily basis. The setting (Liberty Science Center) is always a great view and never gets old to go through when going between work areas. Co-workers are friendly and willing to teach newcomers
What I wish was different
Wish the internship had been paid due to commute time and the work being very similar to what the employees there already do
Advice
Have an open mind and make sure to explore the center on your off time.

What I liked
I liked the workload. There was plenty to do but it was not a highly-stressful work environment. There were plenty of opportunities to get diverse experiences and sharpen various skills.
What I wish was different
I wish my superiors had given more critical feedback. While I really appreciated their constant encouragement, I personally find it more valuable when a boss points out my weaknesses, because then I can improve.
Advice
Have fun, and socialize. LSC has a great camaraderie in its workplace culture, so take the time to get to know people.
