It is a great experience, especially for those who enjoy learning and finding creative, out-of-the-box solutions to a problem.
Learning the ECL functional programming language is challenging but very rewarding.
The work was mostly independently under supervision for the first 2-2.5 months, and consisted of meeting up with the team to document, test, and brief prior work for the last 2-1.5 months.
The team is small yet very friendly and great to work with.
Overall, I would very heavily consider going back.

I utilized functional programming heavily in this internship when dealing with ECL. Therefore, I would not suggest it for anyone who struggles greatly with functional programming methods.
