I experienced what its like to work in an ad agency, thus I want to pursue advertising as masters degree.

What I wish was different

I would ve rather have an internship in the United States considering my education on marketing and advertising is within the US market.

Advice

Not to have big expectations. Internships can be tricky and challenging. Focusing on what you can gain from the experience is what most important.

The people, the rigor and the environment.

Since I already have experience in the HR field I wish they would have placed me with a marketing team. I had a little experience with creatives and strategy.

Marketing keeps you on your toes and offers a creative and rigorous work space.

Design Intern

What I liked

Fantastic team that I worked with and was mentored by. I got to work on real projects for large accounts, and my design work is now seen all over the world. They also had a great internship program where they taught us every week at a "lunch and lean," we had mentors in every department who would help us, and we were given intern groups and a project to come up with a campaign for an account of theirs, and then were able to present it to all our co-worked and the clients at the end of the summer!

What I wish was different

Sometimes I wasn't busy enough, so more projects could have been fun.

Advice

Soak it all in! Leo Burnett has so much to offer, so many incredible people, and so many opportunities to learn and grow. Take advantage of it!

What I liked
