I served food to residents in the Senior living community. I loved seeing their smiles and listening to their stories. I became good friends with a lot of residents.
What I wish was different
I wish that payments schedule was better. We only got paid twice a month, and its always for the previous pay period. This means I didn't get paid until about a month of working there. I also wish the turnaround of employees wasn't so quick. No employees really stuck around at the job.
Advice
This job taught me to like senior citizens. It helped me learn that they are people too, and deserve just as much respect as anyone. I made good friends with many of them, and was pleased to serve them even when they were grumpy.
