What I liked
Gained good experience in direct marketing and being able to talk to people face to face
What I wish was different
Was not at all like the internship had been advertised as. Was not a true internship in that we were expected to do the same tasks as the companies regular marketing reps just that we could use the class as course credit if so desired. The company decided to change the compensation structure 2/3 of the way through the internship and went back on their word in regards to the compensation.
Advice
Get copies of anything you sign with the company and be aware that it is not a true internship. I would caution them against taking the internship.
