What I liked

Becoming more involved in my laboratory without having to juggle the work of classes and extracurriculars simultaneously.

What I wish was different

I commuted 3 times a week, but I wish I could have devoted even more time.

Advice

It is okay to feel like you do not understand everything in a research lab there is a lot. Use your resources to help you learn as much as possible. It comes with time.

What I liked

It was a great opportunity to learn more about my field, the potential of ideas, and have a team that helped and supported me throughout the process. Learning and growing was a huge part of the process, and the environment is very friendly.

What I wish was different

I wish there had been more guidance throughout it, as it was a very independent, closed off job.

What I liked

I liked that it was remote, which allowed me to define the times I worked. I enjoyed that there were other members to meet with and discuss our projects together weekly.
