Legrand North America

Mobile Developer Intern

April 2019 • Pleasant Grove, UT

What I liked

They taught me very useful skills and technologies.

What I wish was different

I had to be Quality Assurance for two weeks, and I didn't enjoy that very much.

Advice

I really liked mobile development before the internship and they taught me very valuable information about mobile development. I would try to specialize in a field that you are interested in. I think what got me the internship is that I showed them some of the apps that I had made on the side outside of school.

Software QA Automation Engineer Intern

September 2019 • Pleasant Grove, UT

What I liked

The company provides a great working environment where people can innovate and contribute. I had an amazing opportunity to learn from full-time employees and contribute my knowledge to improve companies products.

What I wish was different

It would be nice if the company did not give me a lot of different things to work on. By switching between different tasks, my productivity would go down.

Advice

If you have a chance to work for Legrand, definitely take it! I worked with people who came from Microsoft and other big companies.
