Legendary

Marketing Intern

September 2019 • Burbank, CA

What I liked

It was very hands on and had breakfast & lunch included. It’s a relatively small studio so you get to learn the ropes for a lot of different departments.

What I wish was different

I wish there was more of an ability to learn from other departments.

Advice

Whenever your boss tells you to do something make sure to find out why. That way you can see what their exact needs are and give them what they want and more.

Physical Production Intern

May - August 2018 • Los Angeles, CA

What I liked

I loved how immersive the experience was. I learned so much about the entertainment industry by just absorbing what was happening around me. The people I worked with were phenomenal and I had such a great experience. Legendary really opened my eyes and I honed in on what I want to do. Even just a general entertainment industry office setting is something I was never exposed to before.

What I wish was different

Possibly having more things to work on or learning more about how they would manage a set - but that's really nitpicky because I had a great experience.

Advice

Be proactive and ask your questions from the get-go - they're here to help you learn and provide an experience for you, and they want you to ask questions. But read the room! Know what questions you shouldn't ask and know when to be a little hands off.
