Legend Biotech USA, Inc.

Quality Control Training Improvement Intern

June - August 2022 • Raritan, NJ

What I liked

Amazing experience with incredible people. The company’s ambitious pipeline and focus on innovation cancer treatment were my favorite traits.

What I wish was different

I wish that I would have been able to learn lab techniques hands on instead of shadowing, so I would be able to gain new hard skills.

Advice

Collaborate with your fellow interns and learn about different departments by setting up meetings with managers. Use this experience to see what sector of the Biopharma industry you would like.

Advice

Be yourself, be vocal, and do more than is expected of you. Especially in a smaller company like legend, work ethic and professionalism do not go unnoticed

Summer Admin Intern

May - August 2019 • Piscataway, NJ

What I liked

Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The interns were also able to participate in different "lunch-and-learns" to learn more about the industry.

What I wish was different

I wish I had been given more responsibilities. My contract listed many more responsibilities that weren't organized enough for an intern to do yet, since this summer was Legend's first summer intern program.

Advice

Never be too shy to ask for opportunities, whether it's one-on-one meetings with superiors or more responsibilities.
