Great learning experience with a supportive team. I have been able to work on varied items like drafting press releases, event introductions, social media messaging, creating graphics, website editing and more. I highly recommend this position.
What I wish was different
Sometimes you do have to have the initiative to ask for more work rather than it just being given to you but that's because everyone is so busy. I have learned to take initiative and make projects my own, with supervision of course.
Advice
If there's a project you want to work on, definitely ask. This is a pretty open environment that I've been able to get in on projects and learn more. Also, if there's anyone at the organization you want to learn from feel free to reach out to them, everyone here is very nice and willing to help.
