The hands on experience with working with the lawyers and being involved in the actual meeting sit downs with potential clients.

I hoped to have gain more insight about the paperwork and documentation process.
Advice
For legal students, it's a great place to intern at a non profit, especially LASOC, to witness the need for tending to low-income individuals who deal with a great deal of everyday problems that have a lot to due with the lack of available legal assistance provided for them.
