I loved being a part of the Neurobiology lab and working on cutting edge research! I got to learn techniques and skills that are extremely applicable to my field of neuroscience and apply them to a project that is currently being prepared for publication. I was very grateful to have a full-time paid research internship.
What I wish was different
Nothing! Once I was settled, I was excited to come to work everyday.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions and make yourself known! It is important to take advantage of the opportunity and get to know the people you work work (and it helps them write you good letters of rec later on).
