It was really mind-opening to see many parts of the political process, and it helped me develop my interpersonal skills, as well.
What I wish was different
Since the organization is fairly old, it hasn't entirely caught up to the Internet and social media era, so it was strange doing some tasks because they seemed incredibly outdated.
Advice
Do something that you're passionate about, even if it's working for some small, unknown place. I think that's much better than doing something at a large organization in a topic in which you aren't interested.
