Having the experience to be an Intern at Henry Ford Village was life changing. I had the opportunity to intern within multiple departments to see how all the departments were crucial in the function of the community itself. I loved that I had the opportunity to attend and be apart of many events hosted by Henry Ford Village and to create friendships with the residents and staff.
What I wish was different
Advice
Go into the internship with an open mind and a willingness to experience everything and to create relationships. Ask a lot of questions because it is meant to benefit you in all ways possible.

The company culture was extremely welcoming and understanding of the fact that I am a student and I am still learning.

I really have no complaints.
Advice
Be willing to learn and don't settle for smaller projects. Ask to be put on the big projects and just try your best.
