Advice
Working at Latham is incredibly hard, but it's even more rewarding. You need to have tough skin to do this job, but it is worth it. You will learn a lot about yourself and become a more empathetic person.

Summer Intern

What I liked
Being a summer intern at Latham Centers was a great experience and introduction into social care work. I really enjoyed being with the kids at Latham. Additionally, there is a tight knit group of co-workers and mentors to help guide interns through the experience.
What I wish was different
The job was very emotionally taxing at times.
Advice
I think this can be a really rewarding summer experience, but I would advise applicants to be honest with themselves about the type of work they are able to handle.
