Helping people has always been one of my greatest passions, so being able to be part of the change is a unique experience. I am honored to be part of the COVID19 response team, helping my community in these hard times.

I felt that everything was great, maybe helping more people would have been better

Always be involved in projects that seek for the well-being of the community, apart from giving you an unforgettable experience, you can also learn a lot from professionals who are on the front lines fighting against COVID19

What I liked
I liked interacting with patients in the recovery room when they needed to contact someone or required assistance.
What I wish was different
I wouldn’t really have changed much with the exception of wanting a more hands on learning experience in the actual treatment of patients.
Advice
I would recommend having an open mind and talking to patients since they are a reminder or why you are actually volunteering: to make a difference in the community.
