the kids, the camp 5 meals a day

wish i didn't have to spend so many hours after i was done teaching for the day being "on duty"
Advice
great summer job to work around school
no worries about housing transportation or meals
very long hours
i was leadership so i had my own room but counselors live in cabins with the campers

What I liked
I love gaining experience in many different areas and getting the opportunity to impact many girls' lives for the better.
What I wish was different
I wish I had been more open and more creative in both my program area and with people.
Advice
Kids will test you to see how far you will let them go; don't give up your ground, earn their respect, and bond with them. The first week will always be rough but it will be so much better once they respect you.
