Lake Barkley State Resort Park, located near Cadiz, is known as the “crown jewel” of the Kentucky State Park system. The park features an 18-hole golf course, marina, campground, airport, beach, trap range, hiking trails, fitness center, and a spectacular lodge. Barkley Lodge, designed by famous architect Edward Durell Stone, is the largest wooden structure in the eastern United States. It features 120 lodge rooms, 4 suites, Windows on the Water restaurant, meeting rooms, a game room, nature center, and 3 ½ acres of glass providing beautiful views of Lake Barkley.
With all these amenities, the park provides many jobs in many different areas. These include recreation/interpretation, restaurant, grounds maintenance, golf maintenance, guest services, housekeeping, and group sales.
