What I wish was different

I wish I would have had some more support from my team members and the management. I felt like I had very little guidance which made my transition into the environment stressful.

Advice

I recommend taking some time to view the environment and shadow the teachers for a day to see the place and it's routines to see if it is the right fit for you.

Early Childhood Teacher

What I liked

I really enjoyed working with the children! I was able to rotate through the different classrooms throughout the day and so got to interact with infants, toddlers, and some pre-schoolers. The staff was also super friendly and helpful in getting me adjusted to a childcare environment. They taught me different strategies of keeping kids engaged and resolving conflicts, and I was able to successfully apply these skills throughout the few months I was there. The parents were also appreciative of the teachers and overall, it was a really positive experience.
