Working in a startup like this allowed me to take on a lot of responsibility. I was hired as part of the newly formed business team, and almost all of my colleagues were engineers or scientists. It was a unique opportunity to have a profound impact on product strategy and how we approached the market.

Advice
When working in a startup, be prepared to fail fast. Its important for people in such a dynamic workplace to be able to try things and be comfortable moving on to a new strategy if the first one doesn't work quickly. Don't get bogged down in the details!
