What I liked
I got a chance to learn new frameworks and languages in order to work with complex database systems. I was able to co-author the research paper that recently got accepted for SIGCSE Conference. I realized that I enjoy working with data would like to pursue a career in it.

Advice
Be willing to step out of your comfort zone and try new things. You might end up liking it.

I really liked being able to work with other scholars and grow as an independent thinker and researcher.
What I wish was different
I wish COVID wouldn't have been apart of my experience so I could have went to the McNair conference in person and presented my research.
Advice
It was transformative in my individual academic growth.
