What I liked

I got to meet people from all over the world and make friends with the Skagway Locals. Working for this family company made it that much easier to get to know other business owners and people in town. I loved my coworkers, housemates, friends, and employers, not to mention the amazing hikes and adventures I had in my free time!

What I wish was different

I wish I could have brought some of my friends and/or family to spend time with me up there as well as just had more time in general to do more.

Advice

Do Duff's Trail Challenge. I did all but 4 hikes and I regret not taking advantage of that since I don't know when I will be able to go again! Also do not be afraid to get involved with the many community programs and activities, the sooner you join, the better!
