I liked that I worked at my own pace but also had an end goal in mind. I never felt as if I was mindlessly doing work that had no impact or benefit. I also got to build relationships with students and teachers and they were all so sweet.
What I wish was different
Better communication between the schools would create a more effective working environment by increasing the timeliness of new equipment arrival to the appropriate schools, rather than overloading one school with new equipment while another school suffers a shortage.
Advice
Take your time and do not rush. Make sure you are sanitizing the rooms and organizing them to look neat. Take breaks and listen to the instructions of the Head Custodian because they often have tricks to make the job go by faster.
