What I wish was different
I wish I would have been more involved with the company. This position was remote and I did not feel that the company was good at communicating with and to me. I also did not feel like this internship was a good learning experience, but rather a good research and DIY model building exercise. I was not a financial analyst, instead I was a glorified inventory analyst. Not what I was expecting.
