What I liked
I loved that it was fast paced in New York City. There was always work to be done so I was always busy. Everyone on my team was very welcoming and willing to help and mentor me!
What I wish was different
There were definitely times when I wish I had asked to do more during the beginning of the internship. As I felt more comfortable with me skills I began to look for more tasks.
Advice
Definitely ask questions and if you find a day more slow than other days see if there is anything else to be done, even if it’s on a different team. This helps you gain all the exposure to different departments and gives a bigger perspective.
