What I liked
Personally, I have enjoyed gaining experience working with the people of my workplace as well as getting to know them a little better each day as I was there over the summer. The work itself was manageable and I was able to learn how to communicate in correspondence with customers as well as other employees. I've enjoyed the time I've spent there so far, and I hope to continue working with them for several more summers/breaks.
What I wish was different
One thing that I wish could have been different is a slight change in my schedule. I have no problem working later shifts, but there are days where I would like to spend time with my family. Usually later during the day is the only time I have that chance. In future scheduling, I will make a means to fill some time off in my schedule and reschedule for an earlier shift.
Advice
In terms of advice, I can safely say that my experience working here has helped me develop my social skills. As an introvert, I see that this job can make a great leeway towards building upon communicating with others.

Advice
Creating chocolate desserts and decorating them; making fudge and caramel products has helped me find a creative outlet for myself outside of college. Especially since I graduated with a concentration in sculpture.

Retail Salesperson
May - August 2018 • Petoskey, MI
What I liked
I really liked the fact that you were doing multiple things; I get bored after a shift of doing the same thing all the time, or during dead shifts so being able to go to different stations when help was needed was a great thing.
What I wish was different
I really don't wish anything about this job to be different. I worked with great people, doing something I grew to love and appreciate more after working there. Everyone worked really well together and really cared about each other, and it's not often that you find an employment situation like that. If given the chance, I would gladly continue to work for this company in way of marketing, social media, or even sales floor positions like hot production.
Advice
Be willing to learn, and be flexible. There's a lot to learn, and on busy days a lot is thrown at you.
