I loved gaining experience and knowledge about nonprofit organizations! I also enjoyed the challenge of fundraising money to help children and their families beat cancer.
What I wish was different
I wish the organization was a bit more organized with what needed to be completed.
Advice
Don't be afraid to ask questions and be creative with your fundraising efforts! Be willing to help out at fundraising events and actively participate in conversations about how to make the organization better. You never know how your ideas and efforts can impact the success of the place you are interning for!
