I had marvelous coworkers who were always kind and supportive. Since I had worked here for the past few summers, I had a lot of autonomy in my job. I also was in charge of a lot of fun and different programs, but I especially loved running outreach programs.

Immerse yourself in every aspect of it and get to know your fellow librarians. They have a wealth of knowledge.

What I liked
Everyone was very friendly. It's a fun environment and everyday there was always something fun and new that was happening.
What I wish was different
More things to do once everything is done. It's nice to have downtime but some days, it's just very slow and there's not much to do once the list of things were done.
Advice
Be prepared to improvise on situations. You sometimes work with kids and you got to roll with what some of the kids do to have fun and work with their experiments and creations during some sessions.
