Engage with upper management and anyone in the company to mind what interests you and get the most of your internship experience. Most leaders of the different divisions would be happy to let you switch to a role that interests you more if you happen to find that, or just want to try something new during your internship. Also, be proactive, the summer goes fast, so don’t decline an opportunity because you think there will be another time to do it.
