I enjoyed working hands-on at my own pace, but with a deadline. The internship influenced a lot of the stories I wrote. I loved writing the back to school issue as well. It was tedious, but came out great.
What I wish was different
Something I wish was different was the call times. Sometimes went I went in the office I did not have anything to do because I was waiting for a call back or an email back.
Advice
One piece of advice I would share is APPLY for the internship! This was my first one and it was really insightful! I got to become a true reporter for 3 months and meet influential people.
