I wish that my supervisor would have communicated better, in general.
Advice
This internship/job is very independent and on a "your time" sort of schedule. While this is a very good thing, more responsibility and maturity is expected.

Make the most of it! If you put effort into your clients they will return it! The job is very rewarding
