Sales associate

June - September 2019 • Hillsboro, OR

What I liked

I enjoyed being a style advisor/ sales associate for several reasons. It was a new experience, I was able to make meaningful connections/ friendships with my co workers, managers, and even customers. It's especially important to build connections with parents and their daughters because customer service is our top priority. We want parents and their daughters to know we're always there to help find a size and style that caters to each girl. It was a great opportunity for me to practice talking to customers, and be a better cashier.

What I wish was different

There wasn't much I would have changed about my experience at Justice. If I were to change one thing it might have been getting more hours.

Advice

To be enthusiastic and willing to learn. It's so important to have a good attitude while at any job because a poor attitude or outlook can lead to poor customer service, and you won't have a good experience if you're not willing to put in some effort.
