I was able to be involved in a lot of things with the Advancement team and shadowed during meetings. I also learned a lot about SalesForce and how to utilize it to fit a non-profit organization the best.

Advice
Apply to as many job postings that you can. It’s better to have to turn opportunities down then never have them in the first place. JumpStart’s internship posting had expired and closed but I still applied because it was the area I hope to start my career in. Always create as many opportunities for yourself that you can.

JumpStart is an amazing place to work! I had an amazing internship experience there. My supervisor allowed me to be super hands on in the event planning process which helped me learn a lot about the profession.
