I really enjoyed being able togain experience with the case managers throughout the different cases with the foster children. The enviroment was friendly and acceptin as well. This as a great agency to intern with especially for my very first rofessional experience. Everyone was very patient and helpful throughout my entire experience there.
What I wish was different
There was not much that I would wish be different with that internship. It was a very rewading experience overall.
Advice
It is very important to take cae of youself throughout your experience. Seeing these foster children and learning their stories can take a toll on you emotionally and mentally so it is important to have days to just take care of yourself and take your mind off all that. You never want to carry all of those thoughts with you outside of the work place.
